The hotel is overall very nice. The front desk staff and front of house is spectacular. The restaurant, other than the complementary breakfast is in some desperate need of help. The food is very good. The restaurant staffing is simply maddening. The wait for food or even consistent service is nonexistent. Literally got up and served our table myself for water and other basic needs. Would NOT recommend other than breakfast.

I have been visiting this hotel every Thursday for the past year. Initially, I came simply because I was hungry, but over the past three weeks my visits have been motivated by something more—the exceptional food prepared by Chef Jegan. His dishes are truly outstanding, full of depth, flavour, and creativity, making every meal a memorable experience. The quality and taste are at a level that is difficult to fully capture in words. The service is always impeccable as well. Adriana and Robert consistently provide attentive and professional service, contributing greatly to the welcoming atmosphere. My sincere thanks to Chef Jegan for his dedication and passion, and congratulations on the remarkable work he is doing. It is truly appreciated.

Big carpark and it's free to use. Warm friendly greeting from receptionist and all information given. No lift, just stairs My room is on the 1st floor. It was very spacious and had cool decor. The bathroom was a good size too. Bed is super comfortable Wifi excellent The shower was hot and powerful. Though the shower screen was on the wrong side of the bath handle as it flooded the floor! Two menus for the restaurant Good choice and not bad value. Location next to a massive lake, lots of nice walks but not much else close by. Breakfast not included but could be added if wanted at check in. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Stayed for one night as I was travelling for business. Really quite place, very clean. Staff was friendly. Free parking.

Big comfy beds, large room, water filling facilities (still or sparkling), keen prices and great staff. Big shout out to Thames, the bar manager who served me (along with his very nice female - possibly German - colleague) some of the best Guinness I have had outside the Emerald Isle! A true gentleman and lovely guy to chat with.

I look forward to coming back. When I arrived, I received an upgrade to a larger room. Unfortunately at circa 10pm there was a gas leak from the jacuzzi bath and the room was unusable. I'd normally leave a bad review, but the team (especially Robert) were fantastic. They leapt into action to find me a new room (late hour and full hotel!), moved me seamlessly and helpfully, then brought me some complimentary beer and snacks to apologise. The team were fantastic. My only negative was that the in-house grill restaurant wasn't great, the food was quite bland and onion rings just tasted of oil.

We have stayed here on a number of occasions. The hotel is just a little further out, but that is ok as the distance to anywhere isn't far. The staff have always been superbly helpful. Parking is abundant and secure. The rooms are lovely, well kept and well furnished. Individual air con in every room we have ever had. Lush. The breakfast is well stocked and lovely quality. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the local area.
